Erudite Legal is a reputed law firm offering comprehensive legal services across various sectors. With a strong presence in litigation, regulatory advisory, and institutional consulting, the firm works with PSUs, government ministries, and top banking entities.

Event Overview
The Centre for Economics, Law and Public Policy (CELP) at NLUJ is delighted to launch the 1st NLUJ CELP Online Essay Writing Competition 2025, in collaboration with Erudite Legal.

This flagship competition seeks interdisciplinary and original perspectives on law, economics, and public policy. The central theme for this edition is:
“Viksit Bharat 2047: Envisioning India’s Journey to Development”

Participants are expected to explore how legal and institutional reforms can drive inclusive, innovation-led growth in India.

Eligibility
Submissions are invited from students currently enrolled in:

3-year or 5-year LL.B. programs
1-year or 2-year LL.M. programs
Any undergraduate or postgraduate law/social science degree from a recognized Indian university

Email the final manuscript to: Viksit Bharat 2047 (Exact email ID available in brochure)
File should be named after the author(s) and must not contain personal or institutional identifiers.

Word Count: 5000–7000 words (excluding footnotes)
First Page: Title + 200-word abstract
Second Page: Table of Contents
Formatting: Garamond | Font size 12 | 1.5 line spacing
Footnotes: Garamond | Font size 10 | 1.0 line spacing
Maintain anonymity in the manuscript
Maximum plagiarism allowed: 20%
Non-compliance will lead to disqualification

1st Prize: ₹11,000 + Certificate of Merit
