About the Opportunity
Jacobs is looking for a lawyer with 2 to 3 years of post-qualification experience to join its dynamic legal department within the engineering, construction, and technical services sector. The ideal candidate should have excellent academic credentials and practical experience (gained either in-house or in private practice), preferably in providing cross-border litigation support within Infrastructure, Engineering, or Services sectors. The role suits someone eager to take on challenges in a fast-paced, commercial environment.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Support and brief external counsel on various litigation matters
- Manage e-discovery and other external vendors efficiently and cost-effectively
- Provide legal counsel and case updates to business leadership and stakeholders
- Review case dockets, filings, and briefs; assist in formulating litigation strategies
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collect relevant data for cases
- Draft responses to legal notices, settlement demands, subpoenas, and other legal documents
- Work within a hybrid model balancing remote work and on-site presence for effective collaboration
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualified lawyer with significant relevant experience
- Strong academic background with training from a leading law firm or reputable in-house legal team
- Demonstrated ability to identify legal risks and exhibit strong commercial awareness
- Clear, effective communication skills and ability to maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
