About the Organisation
Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MAHATRANSCO) is a government-owned entity responsible for the transmission of electricity across Maharashtra. Established in June 2005 under the Companies Act, MAHATRANSCO manages the state’s power transmission infrastructure, facilitating the flow of electricity from generation points to distribution networks.
Position: Chief Legal Advisor
- Vacancy: 1 Post
- Mode of Engagement: Contract or Deputation Basis
- Tenure:
- Initial term of 3 years, extendable by 2 years based on performance
- Maximum age limit: 67 years
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Degree in Law from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks
Professional Experience:
- Minimum 7 years’ experience as an Advocate
- Of the above, at least 3 years of High Court practice/litigation experience
OR - Serving or retired District Judge or equivalent judicial officer
Remuneration
- Pay Scale: ₹140,655 – 5,980 – ₹272,215
(Incremental structure based on performance and service duration)
