The Centre of Tribal Studies, National Law University Odisha

The National Law University Odisha being established by an Act of Odisha Legislature has undertaken the obligation to produce quality research on the issues relevant for the government of State. The Centre of Tribal Studies at National Law University Odisha is an initiative towards this goal. It has been established as a Centre for producing quality research and analysis in the domain of tribal affairs and its legal, social, economic and cultural dimensions to provide sustainable solutions.

About the Book

The Centre in furtherance of its objectives intends to bring out an edited volume on Tribal Justice. The volume proposes to critically examine various tribal welfare policies, legislations and judgments from legal, social, economic and cultural dimensions. The object is to bring out a comprehensive study which may enable government, civil servants, activists, and other stakeholders to examine and evaluate the available options to implement the goals of tribal welfare laws.
