Call for Volunteers | Apply by 21 November 2025| Research Database Project at the International Law Students Association (ILSA)

Applications are now open for three volunteer positions to support a research and database development project under the International Law Students Association (ILSA). This opportunity is suited for driven law students who are looking to contribute to an international legal initiative, build research competencies and engage with work that supports the global Jessup community.

The selected volunteers will assist in structured research, collation of legal materials and database organisation under the guidance of the project lead. The work will be remote, flexible and designed to provide meaningful experience in international law research and documentation processes.

Who Can Apply
• Law students with strong research skills
• Prior involvement in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition will be considered an advantage
• Ability to meet timelines and maintain accuracy while working independently
• Genuine interest in public international law and academic research

Important Details
• This is a voluntary role and does not carry remuneration
• Selected participants will receive an official certificate from ILSA upon successful completion
• Applications will be considered based on research aptitude, interest in the subject and clarity in communication
