About the Journal
The Harvard Art Law Review, published by the Harvard Art Law Organization, is now inviting submissions for its Fall 2025 Issue. The Review provides a premier platform for scholarship at the intersection of law, art, and culture, welcoming contributions from practitioners, academics, and students worldwide.
Categories for Submission
- 
Articles: 10,000 words (by academics and practitioners) 
- 
Student Submissions: 2,000–5,000 words - 
Notes: Analytical pieces similar in style and depth to articles 
- 
Comments: Focused on recent cases, events, or legislative developments and their implications for art law 
 
- 
Eligibility
Open to law students (any year) and doctoral candidates from around the world.
Formatting Requirements
- 
Microsoft Word (.docx) format 
- 
Single-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman (10-point for footnotes) 
- 
Citations in footnotes, following The Bluebook (21st ed.) 
- 
All assertions must be cited; only unpublished work accepted
