About the Organisers

The IUP Law Review, published by ICFAI University Press (IUP), a division of the ICFAI Society, is a peer-reviewed quarterly journal renowned for its scholarship in law, management, and social sciences. The journal is indexed in Cabell’s Directory and is accessible through EBSCO and ProQuest Databases, ensuring wide academic visibility.

The Centre for Excellence in Corporate & Commercial Laws (CfECCL), established under the aegis of ICFAI Law School, IFHE Hyderabad, serves as an institutional platform for fostering research, policy dialogue, and industry-academia collaboration in corporate and commercial law.

About the Special Issue

The Special Issue on Antitrust and Taxation Laws seeks to bring together innovative scholarship, empirical research, and critical legal perspectives on the evolving interface between market regulation, competition policy, and fiscal governance.

Authors, academicians, practitioners, and research scholars are invited to contribute their insights to this thematic issue that aims to bridge regulatory theory and practice in contemporary business law.

Themes

Taxation Laws:

  1. Corporate Taxation in the Digital Economy
  2. Tax Incentives, Investment, and Corporate Accountability
  3. Transfer Pricing and Intra-Group Transactions
  4. Indirect Taxation and Market Structure: The GST Lens
  5. Taxation, CSR, and ESG Compliance

Antitrust and Competition Law:

  1. Competition in the Digital Economy: Algorithms, Data, and Dominance
  2. Mergers, Market Concentration, and National Interest
  3. Cross-Border Cartels and Common Ownership Structures
  4. Corporate Governance and Market Power
  5. Competition Policy and Sustainability

(Note: The above list is suggestive, not exhaustive.)

Submission Categories

  • Research Papers: 5000–8000 words (including footnotes)
  • Short Articles: 3000–5000 words (including footnotes)
  • Research Notes: 2000–3000 words (including footnotes)

Each manuscript must be accompanied by an abstract of 250–300 words and 5–8 keywords.

Submission & Publication Guidelines

  1. All submissions must be original and unpublished.
  2. Plagiarism must not exceed 10%, and AI similarity should be within 15%.
  3. Authors are required to attach Turnitin reports (plagiarism and AI).
  4. All entries will undergo a double-blind peer-review process.
  5. Footnotes must conform to the IUP Publication Style.
  6. Copyright shall vest exclusively with IUP Publications (A Division of the ICFAI Society).
