About Solventia
Solventia – Journal of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Laws is a bi-annual, double-blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to promoting innovative scholarship in the field of Insolvency and Bankruptcy laws. The journal aims to contribute to legal discourse with both theoretical and practical analyses of insolvency and bankruptcy issues at the domestic and international levels. Solventia publishes articles on contemporary topics in insolvency law, focusing on jurisdiction-specific issues and policy-related themes.

Contribution Guidelines
Solventia invites submissions under the following categories:

  • Long Articles: 6,000 to 8,000 words (excluding footnotes)
  • Short Articles: 3,000 to 6,000 words (excluding footnotes)
  • Case Notes/Book Reviews: 1,500 to 2,000 words (excluding footnotes)
  • Manuscripts may be co-authored by a maximum of three authors.
  • Manuscripts must be related to the subject and scope of Solventia, with an abstract of no more than 200 words.
  • Submissions must follow the OSCOLA citation style (4th edition), with no table of contents or numbered paragraphs.
  • Manuscripts should be in Microsoft Word format and submitted via the provided Google Form.

Additional Submission Guidelines

  • Plagiarism: Permissible limit is 10%, and AI usage is also capped at 10%.
  • Original Work: A declaration is required confirming that the manuscript is an original, unpublished work and not being considered for publication elsewhere.
  • Copyright: Authors agree to grant Solventia the necessary rights to produce, distribute, and publish the manuscript in all forms of media.

Submission Process
Manuscripts for Volume II, Issue 2 must be submitted via the Google Form by 11:59 PM on June 20, 2025.

  • After submission, manuscripts undergo a three-stage blind review process conducted by Solventia’s Board of Editors.
  • Any submissions after the deadline will be considered for the next issue (Volume III, Issue 1).
