The DPIIT-IPR Chair at Osmania University invites submissions for its flagship online, open-access journal – Osmania University Journal of IPR (OUJIPR), Vol.2 | Issue-2, scheduled for publication in March 2025.

OUJIPR serves as a biannual academic platform for discussing contemporary issues in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), encouraging scholarly research and expert insights. The journal is led by Prof. (Dr.) G. B. Reddy, Chair Professor of DPIIT-IPR, with support from an Advisory Board comprising eminent academicians and legal professionals from India and abroad.

Submission Categories & Word Limits

Articles: 5,000 – 8,000 words
Essays: 2,500 – 5,000 words
Book Reviews: 2,000 – 4,000 words
Comments (Case Law/Legislation Analysis): 1,500 – 3,000 words

Word limits exclude abstract and footnotes.

Submission Guidelines

Abstract: Up to 200 words with 5 keywords.
Formatting: Times New Roman, Font Size 12, 1.5 spacing, justified alignment (Footnotes – Size 10, single spacing).
Citation Style: OSCOLA (Fourth Edition, 2012).
Plagiarism: UGC Academic Integrity Regulations, 2018 apply (strict plagiarism checks will be conducted).
Declaration: Authors must submit an originality declaration confirming their work is unpublished and not under review elsewhere.
Bio Note: Authors must provide a brief bio (100 words).
Submission Format: Word (.doc/.docx) only.
