The UM Law & Popular Culture Research Network (LPC-RN) invites submissions for the 8th annual Law and Popular Culture Roundtable, to be held at the Faculty of Law, Maastricht University on 19 June 2026.
The Roundtable provides a focused academic forum to examine the relationship between law and popular culture, encouraging non-conventional, interdisciplinary approaches to understanding law and its role within the social sciences. Scholars are invited to engage with how popular culture shapes, reflects, and contests legal norms and institutions.
