About the Conference
This conference provides a platform for reimagining India’s legal system by integrating its rich jurisprudential heritage with contemporary reforms. It revisits foundational concepts like Dharma and justice from ancient texts, exploring their relevance in the context of new criminal laws — Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam.
The conference will also address how Indianised jurisprudence and ethical governance can shape laws that are equitable, culturally resonant, and responsive to emerging challenges like cybercrime and digital evidence. Further, it highlights how tools like SUPACE and SUVAS are streamlining adjudication and enhancing transparency in the judiciary.
The event will bring together legal scholars, practitioners, students, and policymakers to build bridges between traditional Indian philosophies and modern legal practices.
