About:
The International Trade Centre (ITC), in collaboration with UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), is inviting submissions of unpublished research papers on the creative industries and their role in driving sustainable and inclusive growth. This initiative aims to highlight innovative perspectives and cutting-edge research at the upcoming Experts Roundtable on the Role of Creative Industries for Development, to be held in Geneva.
Eligibility:
Researchers, academics, and practitioners with original and unpublished work on the creative industries, development, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
Themes of Interest:
Papers may focus on, but are not limited to:

The contribution of creative industries to economic and social development.

Policy frameworks that enable inclusive and sustainable creative economies.

The intersection of creativity, trade, and intellectual property.

Innovative models supporting cultural and creative entrepreneurship.
Roles and Opportunities:

The top three papers will be selected.

One author per selected paper will be invited to present their research at the Experts Roundtable in Geneva.

Selected papers will receive international visibility among leading experts and policymakers.
