About the Call for Papers
Paper submissions are invited for Panel 114: “Living with Rivers: Ecologies, Politics, and the Making of Fluvial Worlds” at the EASA 2026 Conference. The panel examines rivers as living ecologies that actively shape human and more-than-human life, politics, care practices, and ethical engagements in riverine and island landscapes.
The panel welcomes contributions that rethink anthropological approaches to the environment through the lens of fluvial worlds.
