About the Call
The Centre for Labour Laws (CLL) at National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal, in collaboration with Trilegal, invites research submissions for the 1st NLIU–Trilegal National Article Writing & Presentation Competition on Labour & Employment Laws, 2026 (NTC-LEL).
The competition aims to encourage original, analytical, and policy-oriented legal scholarship on contemporary issues in the commercial and regulatory landscape of labour and employment law.
Structure of the Competition
The competition will be conducted in two phases:
Phase I – Article Submission Round

Submission of original research manuscripts

Evaluation based on quality of research, originality, and legal analysis
Phase II – Presentation Round

Shortlisted authors will be invited to present and defend their papers

Presentations will be made before a distinguished panel of labour law experts
Eligibility & Theme Focus

Open to students across law schools and universities

Submissions must present original and unpublished research

Papers should engage with labour & employment laws, including commercial, regulatory, and policy dimensions
