About the Opportunity
The Social Europe: EU Socio-Economic Governance and Welfare States section, co-organised by Jonathan Zeitlin and Sven Schreurs, invites paper and panel proposals for the biennial ECPR Standing Group on the European Union (SGEU) Conference, to be held in Catania, Sicily, from 1–3 July 2026. The section explores the politics and policy of the EU’s social dimension in its broadest sense, covering socioeconomic governance, labour regulation, funding mechanisms, and their intersections with other policy fields.
