Section 32: Indigenous Peoples’ Rights and the Pursuit of Justice

This section focuses on Indigenous peoples’ ongoing pursuit of justice globally, with emphasis on land rights, sovereignty, self-determination, and the endurance of Indigenous legal traditions. Contributions should highlight how Indigenous voices influence legal reform, international human rights law, and efforts to redress historical injustices.

Eligibility
We welcome submissions from scholars, practitioners, and interdisciplinary researchers engaged in Indigenous rights and justice, law, semiotics, or related fields.

  • Tentative chapter title (subject to revision)
  • Author name(s)
  • Institutional affiliation(s)
  • Country
  • Short abstract

Chapter Requirements

  • Substantial, literature-based contributions written in an accessible style.
  • Chapters can be revised until final print publication.
  • Flexible deadlines: 6–12 months after acceptance, with extensions available.
