The editorial team of the International Handbook of Legal Language and Communication: From Text to Semiotics (Springer) is inviting contributions for Section 9: “Legal Frameworks for the Conservation and Sustainable Management of Wildlife.”

Edited by Aleksandra Matulewska and Dariusz J. Gwiazdowicz, this encyclopedic volume features 56 sections and nearly 1,000 contributors worldwide, offering a multidisciplinary exploration of how legal systems communicate, structure, and regulate key issues through language, semiotics, and jurisprudence.

Section Focus:
Section 9 will examine how law interacts with biodiversity conservation, wildlife protection, and sustainable resource management, emphasizing the integration of indigenous and local knowledge within environmental governance frameworks.

Eligibility:

  • Open to academics, legal researchers, practitioners, and interdisciplinary scholars.
