About the Volume:
The Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, in collaboration with Pencraft International, New Delhi, invites chapter submissions for an upcoming edited book titled “South Asian Fiction: Memory, Mobility, and Posthuman Imagination.” Edited by Dr. Narinder K. Sharma, this volume seeks to explore how 21st-century South Asian writers reinterpret questions of identity, belonging, and coexistence through evolving frameworks of memory, migration, and posthumanism.
The project will critically engage with ideas from postmemory (Marianne Hirsch), affect and trauma studies (Cathy Caruth), transnational mobility (Avtar Brah, Paul Gilroy), and posthuman materialism (Donna Haraway, Karen Barad), situating South Asian fiction within contemporary global debates on climate change, digitality, and ethical re-imagination.

Submission Guidelines:

Abstract (150–200 words) with 4–6 keywords.

Full chapter: 4,000 words (including notes and references).

Formatting: Times New Roman, 12 pt, double spacing, 1-inch margins.
