Call for Book Proposals — Legisprudence Library (Springer Series)

About the Series

The Legisprudence Library, published by Springer and edited by Luc J. Wintgens (University of Leuven, Belgium) and A. Daniel Oliver-Lalana (University of Zaragoza, Spain), welcomes book proposals that contribute to the growing field of legislation and lawmaking from the standpoint of legal theory.

The series aims to bridge gaps between legal philosophy, political science, and sociology by focusing on the justification of laws, the principles guiding legislation, and the rationality of lawmaking.

Research Focus

The series invites works that explore the theoretical and practical aspects of legislation, including but not limited to:
• Legislative rationality and technique
• Legislative effectiveness and compliance
• Evaluation and impact assessment of legislation
• Codification, regulation, and legal policy analysis
• Symbolic legislation and legislative discourse
• Legitimacy of lawmaking and public access to legislation
• Relationship between legislation, adjudication, and legal reasoning

Contributions that connect theory with legislative and legal practice are particularly encouraged. Both monographs and edited volumes are welcome.
