 RGNUL (CADR-RGNUL) is inviting submissions for our blog as part of a themed cycle focusing on “Revisiting Arbitrability: Evolving Dimensions and Emerging Challenges in Dispute Resolution.”

About the Centre

The Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution, RGNUL, was established in 2018 as a platform for academic research, discourse, and capacity-building in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). CADR aims to bridge the gap between academic insights and the practicalities of ADR, fostering discussions that contribute to the advancement of efficient dispute resolution methods.

The CADR Blog provides a space for professionals, academics, and students to share their perspectives on contemporary and emerging issues in ADR.

Themed Call for Blogs

For this themed cycle, we encourage submissions that explore arbitrability and related challenges. Suggested topics include:

  • Sector-Specific Arbitrability: Tax disputes, intellectual property rights, real estate, and more.
  • Public Policy and Arbitrability: Consumer disputes, fraud, corruption, and restrictions under Indian and comparative frameworks.
  • Emerging Global Issues: Data privacy, blockchain, digital economy disputes, and international arbitration.
  • Industrial and Labor Disputes: Employment contracts and arbitration within labor law frameworks.
  • Financial and Banking Sector: Bank guarantees, financial fraud, and their arbitrability implications.

General Submission Guidelines

  • Eligibility: Open to legal professionals, academics, research fellows, and students.
  • Word Limit: 800–1500 words.
  • Co-Authorship: Permitted for up to two authors.
  • Formatting:
    • Font: Times New Roman or Garamond
    • Font Size: 12
    • Line Spacing: 1.5
  • Citations: Hyperlinks are preferred. Footnotes, if used, must follow The Bluebook (20th Ed.).
  • Submissions must be original, unpublished, and non-plagiarized.

Submission Procedure

  • All articles must be submitted in .doc or .docx format.
  • All submissions must be submitted via this form by 11:59 PM, 14th of March, 2025.
