Kautilya’s Take is the flagship policy blog of the Kautilya Society, a collaborative student-led initiative between NUSRL Ranchi and the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, aimed at bridging the gap between legal academia and policy practice.

Submission Guidelines

Word Count: 1,500–2,000 (including footnotes)
Authorship: Individual or Co-authorship (maximum 2 authors)
Originality: Unpublished, original work; plagiarism limit of 10%
Citations: Bluebook 21st Edition (hyperlinks preferred for non-legal sources)
Anonymity: The submitted document must not contain any author-identifying information
Format:
- Font: Times New Roman
- Text: Size 12, 1.5 line spacing
- Footnotes: Size 10, single spacing

Review Process

Submissions will be reviewed by the Student and Peer Review Board on the basis of originality, analytical depth, clarity, relevance, and adherence to submission guidelines. Selected blogs will be published on the official website and circulated through academic and policy networks.
