About the Role:
We are looking for a Fintech Lawyer to join our legal and compliance team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a mission-driven fintech company, where your legal skills will directly shape products, protect consumers, and ensure regulatory alignment in a rapidly evolving sector.
Eligibility:
Education: LL.B. from a recognized Indian university
Experience: 1–2 years PQE in fintech, banking/finance, or technology law (experience at a startup or law firm is a plus)
Key Skills:

Sound knowledge of RBI regulations, digital lending norms, the IT Act, KYC/AML requirements, and financial regulatory frameworks

Excellent drafting, legal research, and communication skills

Responsibilities:

Legal & Regulatory Advisory: Interpret and apply RBI, SEBI, IT Act, and data protection laws to support product and business decisions

Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate vendor agreements, NDAs, SLAs, and commercial contracts

Product Compliance: Work with product and operations teams to embed legal compliance in user journeys (onboarding, collections, payments)

Regulatory Monitoring: Track updates from RBI, NPCI, SEBI, and advise teams with actionable insights

Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with regulators, external counsel, and compliance consultants when needed

Policy Development: Help create and update internal governance documents such as privacy policies, terms of use, and grievance redressal mechanisms
