About MNLU, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

Maharashtra National Law University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (MNLU-CS), established under the Maharashtra National Law University Act, 2014, is the latest addition to India’s National Law Universities. Commencing operations on March 16, 2017, the university serves as a premier institution fulfilling the aspirations of the Marathwada region for top-tier legal education.

About the Centre for Public Law, MNLU-CS

Established in 2022, the Centre for Public Law at MNLU-CS promotes critical engagement with public law, fostering research and discussion on policies, legislation, and judicial decisions. The Centre actively conducts research on transgender rights and inclusivity, along with broader socio-economic issues.

About Think India

Think India is a pan-India initiative that fosters nationalistic spirit and social service among students. Founded in 2006, it connects students from India’s premier institutions (IISc, IIMs, NLUs, NITs) to engage in policy discussions, nation-building, and leadership programs.


About the 3rd National Youth Parliament, 2025

The National Youth Parliament 2025 aims to provide a realistic legislative experience, encouraging participants to debate on contemporary legal and policy issues.

Committees & Agendas

  1. Lok Sabha – Deliberations on the Uniform Civil Code, focusing on the legal scope of live-in relationships and civil unions.
  2. Historic Crisis Committee – A classified agenda, to be disclosed during the competition.
  3. Ambassadors’ Meet – Formulating a global policy on war crimes & cross-border conflicts, with special emphasis on the Israel-Palestine conflict.
  4. Indian Press – Comprising photographers, journalists, and cartoonists, responsible for documenting and analyzing the discussions.

Eligibility

  • Open to undergraduate students from any university or college.
  • School students (Grades 9-12) are also eligible to apply.

With Food & Accommodation:

  • Individual Participation: ₹3,000
  • Group Delegation:
    • 5 participants: ₹12,000
    • 10 participants: ₹25,000

With Food, Without Accommodation:

  • Individual Participation: ₹1,500
  • Group Delegation:
    • 5 participants: ₹6,000
    • 10 participants: ₹12,000

Campus Ambassador Discounts

  • 10+ participants: 25% discount on delegate fees
  • 20+ participants: 50% discount on delegate fees
  • 25+ participants: 100% discount + ₹100 off for each delegate
  • Top Campus Ambassador receives the “Campus Ambassador to Bharat Ratna Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee 3rd MNLU-CS National Youth Parliament” award and recognition via a social media post.
