2nd B.L. Purohit National Moot Court Competition – Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur
About the Organisers
The Moot Court and Mock Trial Club of Jai Narain Vyas University (JNVU), Jodhpur is organizing the second edition of the B.L. Purohit National Moot Court Competition.
Following the success of the inaugural competition, this edition is dedicated to the memory of Shri B.L. Purohit, a Senior Advocate of the Rajasthan High Court, former Bar Association President, and esteemed Bar Council member.
About the Competition
The competition offers law students an opportunity to hone their advocacy skills, expand their legal knowledge, and engage in courtroom-style debates. Participants will interact with top advocates from the Rajasthan High Court, gaining valuable insights into litigation and practical legal practice.
JNVU’s Faculty of Law—one of the region’s oldest and most prestigious legal institutions—aims to uphold its legacy of academic excellence by fostering legal talent through this event.
Eligibility
- Open to students pursuing a three-year or five-year LL.B. degree at any recognized law school.

- Provisional Registration: Teams must send an email to mcmtclub@gmail.com with the subject ‘College Name – Registration’ by 1st March 2025.
- Final Registration: Teams must complete registration by submitting the Google Form (link provided in the official announcement) by 2nd March 2025.
Registration Fees
- Moot Registration Fee: ₹2,500 per team
- Accommodation Fee: ₹4,500 per team
