About the Opportunity
EY is excited to offer an opportunity to join the GCO Enablement team in GDS India. As an Associate in this team, you will work closely with US member firms, US General Counsel’s Office (GCO) attorneys, and external counsel on case management, document preservation, collection, review, redaction, and production related to litigation and regulatory matters.
Roles and Responsibilities
Drafting communications for the GCO to support evidence preservation and collection in response to subpoenas, document requests, and government inquiries.
Coordinating with departments to gather documents and data for subpoenas and formal requests, ensuring compliance with document preservation requirements.
Assisting senior members with document productions by organizing responsive documents, arranging imaging and copying, and collaborating with external vendors.
Reviewing and redacting documents to protect confidential client and personal information.
Assisting in the review and production of electronic workpapers in response to document requests.
Drafting objections and responses to written discovery requests.
Maintaining detailed indexes and diaries of litigation, investigatory, and subpoena matters.
Creating and maintaining legal databases to track case materials.
Ensuring compliance with EY policies in all document preparations.
Analyzing, digesting, and indexing transcripts and legal data for easy reference by attorneys and auditors.
Reviewing changes in EY policies and procedures to stay up to date.
Eligibility Criteria
LLB with 1 year of experience in document production, review, and redaction, as well as electronic discovery.
Familiarity with Relativity and other market-relevant tools for document production and review.
Understanding of the fundamentals of the United States (US) legal system.
Pragmatic problem-solving skills and a drive for continuous learning.
Ability to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
