About the Fellowship

The Information Society Project (ISP), Yale Law School, invites applications for its 2026–27 Resident Fellowship. The ISP is a leading center for interdisciplinary scholarship on law, technology, and society.

Fellowship Focus

While applications on a broad range of topics are welcome, the ISP especially encourages proposals related to:

  • Artificial Intelligence and the digital public sphere

  • Freedom of speech and content moderation

  • Privacy and data protection

  • Antitrust and competition in the digital economy

  • Algorithmic governance

Fellowship Expectations

Resident Fellows are expected to:

  • Produce and publish original scholarship

  • Participate actively in ISP events and discussions

  • Be on-site at Yale Law School at least three days a week

  • Contribute to ISP programming and initiatives
