About the Organization

Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies – Technical Campus is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi. The institute is committed to realise the words of Swami Vivekananda: “Man Making, Character Building and Nation Building”.

About VSLLS: Vivekananda School of Law and Legal Studies (VSLLS), under the umbrella of VIPS-TC, has taken progressive efforts to equip its law students to face the world by developing conceptual clarity and focusing on the creation of research aptitude and critical approaches.

About VLAC: To make our students conscious of their social responsibility along with developing their legal acumen, VIPS Legal Aid Clinic was established in 2013. VIPS Legal Aid Clinic is the connection between the DSLSA and the people seeking justice.

About Mashaal: Mashaal is the Nukkad Natak group of VLAC and has been performing Nukkad Natak for over a decade with Delhi State Legal Services Authority. ‘Mashaal’ helps in creating legal awareness about various socio legal issues. They perform at Government Offices, Delhi District Courts, slums, clusters, schools, NGOs etc.

LEGAL AID CLINIC BEST PRACTICES PRESENTATION 2025

Antarnad 4.0 proudly introduces a new segment — the Legal Aid Clinic Best Practices Presentation 2025, themed “Shaping the Future of Legal Aid: Role of Law Schools in Advancing Access to Justice.” This competition highlights impactful legal aid initiatives and fosters dialogue among students, faculty, professionals, policymakers, and technologists to drive innovation and collaboration in strengthening access to justice for marginalized communities.

Theme of the Competition

Justice for All: Shaping the Future of Legal Aid: Role of Law Schools in Advancing Access to Justice

 Components of Presentation

The presentation shall comprise of two main components:

1.Report cum Presentation on TWO Best Practices for Academic Year April 2024 – May 2025

2.Video Presentation of all Legal Aid Initiatives organized in the Academic Year 2024-2025

Eligibility

This competition is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students from all disciplines nationwide.

Annual Report Format

The Annual Report should include the following sections:

  • Cover Page: Institution name, competition name, academic year (April 2024 – May 2025), and component title.
  • Table of Contents.
  • Overview of the Legal Aid Committee: Mandate, objectives, structure, and key members.
  • Activities Conducted: Detailed descriptions of each initiative, including objectives, target audience, methodology, outcomes, challenges faced, and visuals.
  • Innovation and Technology Integration: Highlight any AI or technological tools used.
  • Annexures: Supporting documents such as photographs, proof of activities, and geotagged images.
  • Optional: Legal Manual or Dictionary in English or vernacular language.

Presentation Guidelines

Each team will deliver a PowerPoint presentation combining their activity report with a short video showcasing the committee’s work. Guidelines are as follows:

  • Presentation duration: Maximum of 12 minutes.
  • Video duration: 2–3 minutes (included in the 12-minute limit).
  • Q&A session: 3 minutes following the presentation.
  • The presentation should be clear, concise, and visually engaging.
  • All team members must be prepared to respond to panel questions.

 Evaluation Criteria

  • Clarity in presentation of content: 20M
  • Quality and relevance of video presentation:20M
  • Impact and outreach of activities conducted : 20M
  • Innovation and integration of technology in activities: 20M
  • Ability to answer the panel’s questions: 20M

NUKKAD NATAK COMPETITION 2025

Theme of the Competition : “Awaaz Uthao, Samaj Sudharo! Be the Voice for Social Change!”

Raise your voice and reform society by focusing on the following critical sub-themes.

Note: These sub-themes are suggestive; participants are welcome to choose any topic within the broader scope of Social Issues.

1.Women Empowerment – Naari ki shakti, desh ki pragati!

2.Corruption – Bhrashtachar hatao, naya Bharat banao!

3.Drug Abuse – Nashe ka nahi, sapno ka sahara lo!

4.Labour Rights – Mazdoor ka sammaan, desh ka abhiman!

5.Gender Gap & Violence – Ladka-ladki ek saman, yahi hai naye Bharat ki pehchan!

6.Cyber Safety – Digital duniya, suraksha zaroori!

7.Right to Education – Kitabein uthao, sapne sajao!

General Guidelines to be followed

  • The Nukkad Natak must be based on the theme released by the organizers, and teams must ensure that their performance aligns with it.
  • Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, and only one team from each institution will be allowed to participate.
  • Teams are required to register through the attached form, and only one member needs to register on behalf of the team; all communication will be made with this person via Email and WhatsApp.
  • Each performance must be original and should not exceed 15 minutes, with the primary language being regional and only minimal use of English allowed.
  • Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited, and violations may result in deduction of points or disqualification by the organizers and judges.
  • Teams may use props, background music, and lighting, with a maximum of five instruments permitted, but no pre-recorded voices or music will be allowed.
  • Any form of obscenity through actions, language, or visuals is strictly prohibited and may lead to penalties, including point deduction or disqualification.

Evaluation Criteria

  • The originality and innovation demonstrated in the script, concept, and presentation.
  • The overall effectiveness of the performance, including use of props, and engagement with the audience.
  • The clarity and articulation of the theme, including its relevance and alignment with the performance.
  • The importance and significance of the issue addressed in the performance and its connection to the theme.
  • Teams must complete their performance within the allotted time. Exceeding the time limit may result in a penalty.
  • Performance in Acting:

Dialogue Delivery: The effectiveness, clarity, and impact of the spoken lines. Expressions: The use of facial expressions and emotions to convey the story and connect with the overall audience.

Body Language: The physical portrayal of characters, including movements, gestures, and physical presence.

Coordination Between Members: The seamless interaction and teamwork among the cast members to create a cohesive and engaging performance

  • Event & Valedictory Ceremony : 29th October, 2025

Fee

  • LEGAL AID CLINIC BEST PRACTICES PRESENTATION: 2000/- per team.

(2 Members per team , only one team per institute)

  • NUKKAD NATAK COMPETITION: 150/- per participant.

(If a team consists of ‘n’ number of members then each member has to pay individually through the given payment link.)

 Awards

The winners of the competition will be eligible for attractive prize money and certificates of merit. Additionally, all participants will receive certificates of participation.

1st  Prize – Rs.15,000/-

2nd  Prize – Rs.10,000/-

  • NUKKAD NATAK COMPETITION:

1st  Prize – Rs.11,000/-

2nd  Prize – Rs.5,000/-

 Payment & Registration Guidelines

  • The last day for Registration & Fee Payment is on or before 16th October 2025.
  • All payments must be made through the event portal of VIPS-TC at https://form.qfixonline.com/VSLLSAntarnad
  • After completing the payment, teams must take a screenshot of the transaction and attach it to the registration Google form. For Nukkad Natak Registration, all the screenshots are to be combined and submitted through one pdf only.
  • Please note that the registration fee, once paid, is non-refundable.
  • Teams are required to send a soft copy of the payment receipt along with the registration form to antarnad@gmail.com.
