Accords International (AcIn) is the world’s premier organization working in the area of conflict resolution. We are passionate about discovering innovative techniques in mediation and restorative justice for widening their scope as a mechanism of conflict resolution.

AcIn was conceptualized in 2021 with an aim to:

  1. Empower individuals to establish better dispute resolution mechanisms;
  2. Utilise existing techniques in dispute resolution in a more productive way and create new techniques in the area;
  3. Create a pan India network of professionals, academicians, judges, bureaucrats, and students working in the area of conflict resolution and restorative justice &
  4. Synergise the working of alternate dispute resolution mechanisms with courts and the government for faster and optimal results

AcIn organizes a monthly chat with global conflict resolution experts to sensitize the audience about creating innovative techniques for conflict resolution.

About Kenneth Cloke

Kenneth Cloke is Director of the Center for Dispute Resolution and a mediator, arbitrator, facilitator, coach, consultant and trainer, specializing in communication, negotiation, and resolving complex multi-party disputes, including marital, divorce, family, community, grievance and workplace disputes, collective bargaining negotiations, organizational and school conflicts, sexual harassment, discrimination, and public policy disputes; and designing preventative conflict resolution systems. He is an internationally recognized speaker and author. He served as an Administrative Law Judge for the California Agricultural Labor Relations Board and the Public Employment Relations Board, a Factfinder for the Public Employment Relations Board, and a Judge Pro Tem for the Superior Court of Los Angeles.

About Michael D. Lang

For more than 40 years Michael has mediated family, workplace, and organizational disputes. He created and was the founding director of one of the first graduate programs in conflict resolution in the US at Antioch University and served in a similar role at Royal Roads University in Canada. Michael served for 6 years as Editor-in-Chief of Mediation Quarterly (now Conflict Resolution Quarterly) and currently is Special Advisor and member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Mediation and Applied Conflict Analysis in Ireland. In the area of reflective practice, he has authored The Practitioners Guide to Reflective Practice in Conflict Resolution (2019) and co-authored The Making of a Mediator: Developing Artistry in Practice, (2000).
