At the outset, Centre of Excellence for Women, Child, and the Law (CEWCL) a research centre at IFIM Law School is very happy to announce ‘AAGAAZ 2022’ – a four-day event showcasing neglected pertinent areas on Women and Chid in the light of International Women’s Day 2022.
‘Women and Child in India silently suffer from various forms of exploitation such as Domestic Violence; Sexual Abuse; Voiceless on Menstruation management, Reproductive rights, Workplace Rights. These are the taboo topics which no platform wants to address and deliberate. We at CEWCL have conceptualised ‘Aagaaz’ (literal meaning: A new beginning) to break the silence and spread awareness on these stigma topics by organising events such as POSTER MAKING, PHOTOGRAPHY, DEBATE competitions (Brochure attached), AWARENESS DRIVE . All these events are on VIRTUAL platform and focus on the core theme of the International Women’s Day 2022 – #BREAKTHEBIAS’.
