K&S Partners is inviting applications for the position of Senior Associate in its Trademark Team at the Mumbai office. This opportunity is ideal for experienced Intellectual Property professionals looking to work with one of India’s leading IP law firms on trademark prosecution, portfolio management, enforcement, and advisory matters.

Key Responsibilities:
• Advise clients on trademark filing strategies, clearance searches, registrability, and risk assessment
• Prepare trademark availability opinions and legal advisories
• Handle trademark prosecution before the Indian Trademarks Registry
• Manage examination reports, hearings, and post-registration matters
• Coordinate Madrid Protocol filings and international trademark portfolios
• Advise on assignments, licences, coexistence agreements, and recordals
• Handle oppositions, rectifications, cancellations, and related proceedings
• Draft notices of opposition, counter-statements, evidence affidavits, and written submissions
• Coordinate investigations, takedown actions, cease-and-desist notices, and settlement negotiations
• Liaise with Registry officials and manage client trademark portfolios
Eligibility & Preference:
• LL.B. degree from a recognised institution with a specialisation or strong interest in Intellectual Property Law
• 5–7 years of experience in trademark prosecution and advisory work
• Excellent legal drafting and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team
• Detail-oriented with strong client management and organisational skills
