Job Description:
HDB Financial Services Ltd. is inviting applications for the position of Legal Manager for its Ahmedabad and Indore locations. The role is ideal for experienced legal professionals from the Banking and NBFC sector who possess strong expertise in litigation management, recovery proceedings, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage litigation matters under the Negotiable Instruments Act, SARFAESI Act, DRT proceedings, civil suits, and Section 9 matters
• Oversee execution of decrees, recovery actions, and court orders
• Draft and manage legal correspondence with customers and stakeholders
• Coordinate with external counsels, courts, and law enforcement authorities
• Represent the organization before courts, police stations, and regulatory forums as required
• Conduct field visits for high-value and sensitive legal matters
• Independently manage end-to-end litigation workflows and ensure timely closure of cases
• Provide legal support for enforcement and recovery-related matters
Eligibility & Preference:
• LL.B. qualification from a recognized institution
• Minimum 5–6 years of experience in Banking or NBFC legal functions
• Strong knowledge of NI Act, SARFAESI Act, DRT proceedings, and civil litigation
• Experience in handling police station matters and legal enforcement activities
• Proficiency in MS Excel (mandatory), MS Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willingness to travel within the city for legal follow-ups and enforcement support
