Position:
• Senior Manager – Commercial Legal
Key Responsibilities:
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements including:
• Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
• Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
• Supply Agreements
• Vendor Agreements
• Advertising Agreements
• Insertion Orders
• Managing contract repositories through CLM systems and maintaining risk trackers and contract summaries
• Developing and updating standard contract templates aligned with business requirements
• Providing legal support for new business initiatives and operational matters
• Reviewing business practices to identify legal, operational, and financial risks
• Drafting and updating platform terms of use, privacy policies, and related documentation
Compliance & Advisory Areas:
• Advertising compliance including ASCI regulations
• Consumer Protection Act & E-Commerce Rules compliance
• Pricing, discounts, and promotional campaign advisory
• Payment & Settlement compliance including:
• PMLA
• Payment & Settlement Systems Act (PSSA)
• Cybersecurity & data protection compliance including:
• IT Act
• DPDP Act
• Competition law and antitrust advisory
• Managing legal risk relating to dark patterns, consumer grievances, and operational compliance
• Supporting merger control, disputes, and employee compliance training initiatives
What Zepto Is Looking For:
• Strong commercial contracting and negotiation experience
• Experience handling technology, e-commerce, compliance, or startup-focused legal matters preferred
• Strong understanding of consumer protection, data privacy, and regulatory compliance frameworks
• Ability to independently advise business teams in fast-paced operational environments
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and risk assessment capabilities
