Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Legal Head to lead and manage legal operations across Mumbai & Jaipur locations for our NBFC. The role involves leading the legal department, managing litigation, compliance, and providing legal support to credit, operations, collections, and business teams.

• Experience: 10–15 years in NBFC / Bank / HFC
• Qualification: LLB / LLM (Bar Council enrolment preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the legal department for NBFC operations
• Draft, review, and vet legal documents including loan agreements, mortgage documents, vendor agreements, NDAs, and other contracts
• Handle litigation, arbitration, SARFAESI matters, and recovery‑related legal proceedings
• Ensure legal compliance with RBI regulations, Companies Act, and applicable laws
• Coordinate with external advocates, legal consultants, and law firms
• Provide legal support to credit, operations, collections, and business teams
• Review property‑related legal reports and title verification for secured lending
• Monitor legal risk and recommend corrective actions
• Manage empanelment and performance of legal vendors and advocates
• Support audits, inspections, and regulatory submissions from a legal perspective
• Team handling experience preferred
Eligibility & Preference:
• LLB / LLM from a recognised university
• Enrolment with Bar Council preferred
• Strong experience in LAP, mortgage lending, SARFAESI, and litigation management
• 10–15 years of legal function experience within NBFC / Bank / HFC
• Prior team handling experience preferred
