About the Opportunity:
Inttl Advocare is inviting applications for a Trademark Prosecution Professional (Foreign Filings) role. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in international trademark portfolios and multi-jurisdictional filings, looking to specialise in global IP practice.
Experience Required:
• 2–4 years (PQE)
Core Focus Area:
• Trademark Prosecution (Foreign Filings)
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing end-to-end foreign trademark filings
• Handling applications under:
• Paris Convention
• Madrid Protocol
• Coordinating with international associates across jurisdictions
• Drafting responses to office actions and advising on filing strategies
• Preparing and reviewing documents such as:
• Assignments
• Affidavits
• Powers of Attorney (POAs)
• Consent letters
• Conducting trademark clearance searches and basic risk assessments
• Managing docketing systems, deadlines, and client communications
Preferred Experience:
• Familiarity with trademark practices in neighbouring jurisdictions:
• Bangladesh
• Bhutan
• Maldives
• Nepal
• Pakistan
• Sri Lanka
Skills Required:
• Strong drafting and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and organisational ability
• Ability to handle multi-jurisdictional IP work
• Effective communication with international clients and associates
