
About the Journal:
The Contemporary Law & Policy Review (CLPR), published by Maharashtra National Law University Nagpur, is a student-edited, peer-reviewed, bi-annual journal functioning under faculty supervision. The journal is dedicated to promoting rigorous, interdisciplinary legal scholarship and fostering critical engagement with evolving issues in law and policy.
Call for Papers:
Submissions are invited for Volume 3, Issue 1 (2026). The journal follows an open-theme approach, welcoming contributions from across all branches of law, particularly those addressing contemporary legal and policy challenges with original and analytical insights.

Themes & Scope:
• Open theme (all areas of law)
• Interdisciplinary and socio-legal research encouraged
• Policy-oriented and contemporary legal issues preferred
Formatting & Citation Guidelines:
• Citation Style: ILI (Indian Law Institute) format
• Main Text: Times New Roman, Size 12, 1.5 spacing, justified
• Footnotes: Times New Roman, Size 10, single spacing
• Margins: 1 inch (A4 size)
• Endnotes are not permitted
• Tables/Charts must be numbered and included within the text
• Submission format: Microsoft Word (2007 or later)
Copyright:
• Copyright of accepted submissions will vest with CLPR, MNLU Nagpur
• Authors will be required to submit a copyright declaration upon acceptance
