Job Description:
Deloitte India is looking for a passionate data privacy professional to join its in-house privacy team. This role focuses on safeguarding Deloitte India’s internal data ecosystem and ensuring strong data privacy practices across the organisation. The position is based preferably in Mumbai and is purely an internal role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Acting as the “guardian of the guardians” by protecting Deloitte India’s internal data privacy framework
• Designing, implementing, and monitoring privacy controls across the organisation
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed privacy by design into projects
• Staying updated with emerging privacy trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance
Eligibility & Preference:
• 4+ years of solid experience in data protection (legal, technical, or a mix of both)
• Strong understanding of privacy regulations such as DPDPA and GDPR along with practical implementation of technical controls
• Ability to work in complex, large-scale environments and influence internal stakeholders
• This role is not suitable for beginners or those looking to transition freshly into data protection
