ABOUT 5th LEGAL DRAFTING COMPETITION 2026:
The 5th Legal Drafting Competition 2026 organised by Canonsphere is a virtual event aimed at enhancing the legal drafting skills of law students. The competition is themed on “Cyber Fraud in Digital Banking and Legal Remedies for Affected Consumers” and requires participants to draft pleadings based on a fictional problem. The problem focuses on issues relating to cyber fraud in digital banking, including bank liability, consumer protection, cybercrime investigation, and procedural lapses. Participants are expected to critically examine the rights of consumers, the obligations of banks, and the role of law enforcement agencies in cases of cyber fraud. The competition shall be governed by these rules, and all participants shall be deemed to have read and understood them.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Students pursuing any undergraduate degree from a recognized university can participate in the 5th Legal drafting competition 2026.
Eligible to participate as an individual or team (of two).

Note: The problem statement will be disclosed at a later stage. However, Participants will be required to submit the matrimonial related legal drafts.
