Position Details
• Role 1: Junior Associate (0–1 year PQE)
• Role 2: Associate (2–3 years PQE)
• Location: Mumbai (In-office role)
About the Role
The positions involve working on shipping law matters, along with exposure to arbitration, contract law, and procedural litigation. Candidates will be part of a focused, high-performance practice, requiring strong fundamentals and the ability to handle responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
• Draft pleadings, contracts, and legal submissions
• Assist in arbitration and commercial dispute matters
• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies
• Support and manage matters across forums
Eligibility & Requirements
For Junior Associate (0–1 year):
• Strong working knowledge of CPC, Arbitration, and Contract Law
• Demonstrated interest in Shipping Law (through internships, research, etc.)
For Associate (2–3 years):
• Prior experience in Shipping Law (mandatory)
General Requirements
• Strong drafting and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a structured and fast-paced environment
• Candidates must be based in Mumbai or willing to relocate
