Position Details
• Role: Legal Intern – Direct Tax
• Duration: Minimum 3 months
• Stipend: ₹5,000 per month + discretionary performance bonus
• Location: Fort, Mumbai (Partial WFH permitted based on work delivery)
About the Role
The internship offers hands-on exposure to direct tax litigation and advisory work, including appearances and matters before CIT(A), DRP, ITAT, and High Courts. Interns will be involved in research, drafting, and real-time case preparation, along with insight into building and managing a practice.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct in-depth legal research on direct tax issues
• Assist in drafting appeals, petitions, submissions, and opinions
• Support ongoing litigation and advisory assignments
• Contribute to case strategy and preparation for hearings
Ideal Candidate
• Prior exposure to direct tax laws and practice
• Ability to think independently and take ownership of work
• Strong research, analytical, and drafting skills
• Serious interest in litigation and tax advisory
