Nilaya Legal is expanding its team and inviting applications for the position of Associate (1–3 years PQE) to join its Corporate & Commercial and Venture Capital practice in Mumbai.
Over the years, the firm has worked closely with founders, investors, and high-growth businesses across sectors such as AI, fintech, e-commerce, energy, FMCG, gaming, and deep tech. This role offers a front-row seat to how companies are built, scaled, and funded.
About the Role
The selected candidate will work on venture capital transactions, corporate advisory, and strategic deals, engaging directly with founders and investors. The role goes beyond routine transactional work and focuses on understanding the business context behind legal decisions.
Ideal Candidate
• 1–3 years PQE with exposure to VC investments, M&A, or JV transactions
• Strong understanding of corporate laws, FEMA, RBI regulations, and data privacy
• Exposure to startups or venture-backed companies
• Ability to think commercially and work closely with business stakeholders
