Chandhiok & Mahajan, Advocates and Solicitors is inviting applications for the position of Associate to join its Corporate / Transactions team in New Delhi. This opportunity is suited for lawyers with prior experience in corporate transactions who are looking to work on sophisticated deal work within a leading law firm environment.
The role offers exposure to high-value corporate transactions and the opportunity to work closely with experienced practitioners on complex transactional matters. Candidates will be involved in various stages of transaction execution, including due diligence, documentation, and negotiations.
About the Role
The selected associate will assist the corporate transactions team in handling a range of deal-related work. The role requires a strong understanding of corporate regulatory frameworks and hands-on experience in transactional processes.
Associates will work on legal due diligence exercises, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and supporting the execution of corporate deals across sectors.
Experience
• 1–4 years’ post-qualification experience in a dedicated corporate transactions practice
Key Skills and Requirements
• Experience in conducting legal due diligence
• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating transaction documents
• Sound working knowledge of the Companies Act and FEMA regulations
• Prior experience in handling transactions end-to-end will be highly preferred
