The Federation of Indian Animal Protection Organisations (FIAPO) is inviting applications for the position of Associate to join its Legal Team.
This role focuses on legal research, policy work, and advocacy relating to animal protection laws in India, and is suited for candidates interested in working at the intersection of law, policy, and social impact.
Location: New Delhi (Remote / Work-from-home flexibility available)
Key Responsibilities
• Drafting legal representations and submissions to government authorities
• Assisting with campaign-related legal work and advocacy initiatives
• Filing and drafting Right to Information (RTI) applications and follow-ups
• Conducting research on animal protection laws and policy frameworks
• Supporting legal documentation and occasional court-related work where required
Eligibility Criteria
• LL.B. degree
• Strong legal research and drafting skills
• Prior litigation experience not required
• Interest in animal protection, policy, and advocacy preferred
