The Editorial Board of the GNLU Student Law Review (GSLR) has announced the launch of GSLRblog, a platform dedicated to legal scholarship and critical commentary on contemporary issues in law and governance.
For over half a decade, GSLR has served as a forum for rigorous academic writing. The launch of GSLRblog expands this engagement by providing a platform for shorter, analytical pieces while maintaining the publication’s commitment to scholarly rigour.
The blog invites rolling submissions from law students, academicians, and practitioners.
Submission Guidelines
Scope:
Original contributions engaging with contemporary issues in law and public policy. Authors directly involved in the subject matter in a legal, representative, or advisory capacity must consult the editorial board prior to submission.
Format:
• 800–1,200 words
• Microsoft Word (.docx)
• Blind submission (no author details in the manuscript)
Co-authorship:
Up to three co-authors permitted.
Abstract and Keywords:
A short abstract (maximum 50 words) along with five keywords is required.
Citation Style:
• Hyperlinks to statutes, judgments, and relevant sources preferred
• Footnotes or endnotes only where hyperlinks are unavailable
• OSCOLA (4th Edition)
Expedited Review:
Available for time-sensitive submissions. Authors should include “Expedited” in the file name of the submitted document.
Originality Requirement:
Submissions must be original and unpublished and must not be under review elsewhere. All manuscripts are screened for plagiarism and AI-generated content. The use of generative AI to produce or substantially assist written content is strictly prohibited.
Publication Policy:
All accepted content will be published open access under the Creative Commons CC BY-SA licence.
