Role: Legal Associate/Officer – Asset Recovery
Experience: 1–2 years (Freshers/Entry-level may apply)
Locations: Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in end-to-end SARFAESI proceedings, including issuance of Section 13(2) demand notices, preparation of Section 13(4) possession notices, and auction publications
• Draft and vet demand notices, borrower replies, affidavits, and mortgage-related documentation
• Liaise with police authorities, District Magistrate (DM) and Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) offices for physical possession under Section 14
• Maintain litigation trackers, case records, and legal MIS for NPA recovery matters
• Support proceedings before DRTs, consumer forums, and civil courts
• Coordinate auction, sale, and liquidation of secured assets
Required Qualifications and Skills:
• LL.B. or equivalent law degree
• Strong understanding of SARFAESI Act, 2002, RDDB Act, Transfer of Property Act, NI Act (Section 138), and RBI guidelines
• Sound drafting ability and analytical approach to property documents
• Effective communication skills and willingness to travel
• Ability to work in deadline-driven environments
