S&Y Law Chambers is inviting applications for its Research Internship Programme for the period February 2026 to April 2026.
This programme is structured for law students who are genuinely serious about strengthening their research foundation. It is not observation-based. It is contribution-based. Interns will engage in substantive legal and academic research under guided mentorship.
About the Internship
The objective of the programme is to mentor a select group of students in:
• Legal research methodology
• Analytical structuring of issues
• Scholarly legal writing
• Critical engagement with statutes, precedents, and policy developments
Interns will work closely with professionals at the Chambers and contribute to research-driven legal projects. The focus is on discipline, depth, and intellectual clarity.

• Eligibility: Students from 2nd year to 4th year of law school
• Duration: February 2026 – April 2026 (3 months continuous)
• Mode: Hybrid (Primarily Virtual)
• Working Hours: Flexible, subject to availability and office requirements
• Leaves: Permissible with prior coordination
• Internship Certificate: Issued upon successful completion
This internship requires consistency. Candidates who are unable to commit to a continuous three-month engagement are advised not to apply.
