Role Overview
The selected candidate will provide technical and operational support to research and evaluation projects across India, combining fieldwork, data analysis, and policy-focused research. The role is based in the Delhi-NCR region and involves significant travel.
Key Responsibilities
• Assisting in designing and implementing qualitative research methods including FGDs and in-depth interviews
• Monitoring fieldwork and ensuring data quality and consistency
• Coordinating with field teams and addressing data collection challenges
• Reviewing qualitative data and ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Transcribing and translating interviews and field data
• Conducting thematic data analysis using research tools and coding frameworks
• Supporting report drafting, research synthesis, and preparation of presentation materials
• Assisting with stakeholder and client reporting requirements
Eligibility & Preferred Profile
• Postgraduate degree in Rural Management, Social Sciences, Social Work, Public Policy, Economics, or related disciplines
• 0–3 years of experience in social research, monitoring and evaluation, or advisory roles
• Strong research, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work in team-based and field-intensive environments
• Willingness to travel extensively for project execution
Duration
• 6 months (project-based engagement)
