Snapmint is looking to onboard an early-career lawyer (1–4 years PQE) to join its in-house Legal team. This is a strong opportunity for lawyers interested in fintech, NBFC regulation, and commercial contracting, and who want hands-on exposure in a fast-growing, consumer-focused fintech.

Role: Associate – Legal
Key Responsibilities
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts (service agreements, partnerships, merchant onboarding, financing documents)
• Regulatory research and advisory on RBI NBFC norms, fintech regulations, consumer lending standards, and data protection laws
• Support legal risk management across lending, collections, marketing, and data usage
• Manage regulatory filings, audits, and engagement with RBI, MCA, and other authorities
• Track notices, litigation timelines, and dispute resolution matters
• Coordinate with external counsel for litigation and regulatory opinions
• Assist in internal trainings, policy drafting, governance frameworks, and compliance programs
• Monitor and communicate legal and regulatory updates impacting fintech and NBFC operations
Eligibility
• LL.B. / LL.M. from a reputed Indian university
• 1–4 years PQE in a law firm or in-house role (fintech / NBFC / financial services preferred)
• Strong exposure to regulatory advisory, commercial contracts, and compliance
Key Skills
• Strong understanding of RBI and fintech regulations
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• Commercially sound judgment and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
