ABOUT THE COURSE
This two-day intensive programme offers participants comprehensive exposure to contemporary developments in labour and employment law, exploring critical themes including the impact of artificial intelligence on the workforce, strategic drafting of employment contracts and restrictive covenants, hybrid and gig work models, and the influence of globalization and ESG standards on domestic labour practices.
The course will be conducted by distinguished practitioners from Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas:
- Abe Abraham, Partner – A formidable expert with over two decades of experience in labour and employment law
- Abhilash Tyagi, Associate – Known for his expertise in regulatory compliance and workplace policy formulation
ELIGIBILITY AND IMPORTANT DATES
- Eligibility:Â Open to law students currently in their third year or above of B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) or equivalent integrated law programmes from any recognized university
- Total Participants:Â 50 students will be selected from law universities across India
- Application Deadline:Â January 19, 2026 (11:59 PM)
- Announcement of Shortlisted Candidates:Â January 21, 2026

- Course Fee:Â INR 6,700/- (for shortlisted candidates only)
SELECTION PROCESS
Applications will be evaluated based on the submission of a Curriculum Vitae (CV) and Statement of Purpose (SOP) outlining the candidate’s interest in labour and employment laws and motivation for joining the course. The Centre for Labour Laws (CLL), in consultation with Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, will conduct a thorough review, with final selection based on academic merit and demonstrated interest in the field.
Please note:Â Registration does not automatically guarantee participation. Only shortlisted candidates will be eligible to complete final registration and attend the course.
