Description
Parksons Packaging Ltd. is inviting applications for an in-house legal role focused on contracts, legal operations, and risk management. The role is suited for candidates with strong commercial contracting experience and an interest in building efficient, tech-enabled legal systems.
The position involves close collaboration with business teams, exposure to domestic and international contracts, and responsibility for strengthening the organisation’s legal processes and compliance framework.
Key Responsibilities
• Drafting, vetting, and finalisation of commercial agreements and contracts
• Handling NDAs, customer contracts, and vendor agreements with Indian businesses, MNCs, and global counterparties
• Assisting with documentation relating to real estate, intellectual property, and allied legal matters
• Managing and organising legal documentation on an IT-based document management platform
• Ensuring contracts and records are centrally stored, tracked, and easily accessible in electronic form
• Supporting implementation of appropriate legal tech solutions for the legal function
• Identifying and analysing legal risks and implications for the business
• Protecting and enforcing the company’s legal rights and interests
• Tracking legislative and judicial developments and updating management on relevant legal and regulatory changes
Ideal Candidate Profile
• Strong experience in contract drafting and review
• Comfort working with legal documentation systems and technology tools
• Commercial mindset with ability to identify and mitigate legal risks
• Ability to work closely with business and management teams
• Sound understanding of Indian laws and regulatory developments
