Sun TV Network Limited is looking for an experienced Media & Entertainment Lawyer to join their legal team in Chennai. This is a non-litigation role, ideal for professionals with strong exposure to the media, broadcasting, or entertainment ecosystem.

Chennai (only Chennai-based candidates may apply)
Experience
3–7 years (non-litigation)
Key Responsibilities

Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts for content production, acquisition, licensing, and syndication

Advising internal stakeholders on legal aspects of television, digital, film, and media operations

Handling agreements with production houses, artists, talent, vendors, and agencies

Ensuring compliance with media, copyright, IP, and broadcasting regulations

Managing legal risk and delivering practical, business-oriented legal solutions
Desired Profile

LL.B. from a recognized university
-
Prior experience in Media & Entertainment, Broadcasting, or Digital Media
-
Strong understanding of copyright, IP, contract law, and media regulations

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
